WHAT IS ROTARY?
Rotary International is an international service organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. There are 1.2 million individuals, known as Rotarians, and 34,282 Rotary clubs worldwide.
WHO IS LYON AREA ROTARY?
Lyon Area Rotary Club was chartered in 2010 to enrich the local community through Rotary service projects. Our members come from many different professions and backgrounds which provides our club a wealth of talent to draw upon to help with our community projects. Our members have a genuine love of service and desire to promote our humanitarian efforts. If you have a desire to serve your community, come join us! Everyone is welcome.
