LYON AREA ROTARY CLUB HONORARY ROTARIANS
Honorary membership is used to recognize people who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service and embody Rotary ideals, or those considered as strong supporters of the Lyon Area Rotary Club and our causes.
Active members are called Rotarians,
while honorary members are called Honorary Rotarians.
Honorary members must be approved by the general membership of the Lyon Area Rotary Club. Honorary members do not pay dues. They are not eligible to hold office or to vote. Honorary Members receive the same privileges as a Lyon Area Rotary Club Friend, however meeting lunches are free to Honorary Rotarians.
